About the Organization
Founded in 1974, Resilience, the only stand-alone rape crisis center in the state of Illinois, is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization that has been on the front lines of supporting survivors of sexual violence for more than five decades. Formerly known as Rape Victim Advocates (RVA), the organization rebranded as Resilience in 2018 to reflect a broader vision of healing, empowerment, and systemic change.

Resilience provides services at no cost to survivors seeking treatment for sexual violence at participating hospitals. Its advocacy efforts extend beyond individual services: the experience and knowledge gained through direct service informs and strengthens Resilience's work to advance institutional and systemic change.

About the Position
Resilience seeks a highly competent, mission-driven executive with a strong record of fundraising, financial management, community partnership, and organizational leadership. Depaul USA is a dynamic, faith-inspired national nonprofit on a mission to end homelessness and change lives. Rooted in the Vincentian values of compassion, dignity, and practical action, Depaul USA offers a continuum of care—from supportive and affordable housing to day programs, medical respite, and social enterprise. In 2024, Depaul USA served over 99,444 meals, helped 124 people secure employment, and moved 208 individuals into permanent housing. Every program is designed to break the cycle of homelessness by improving health, economic stability, and long-term housing security.

About the Position
We are seeking a mission-driven leader who will be an exceptional fundraiser and able to pivot when opportunities arise.  The person selected for the role will be responsible for creating and managing budgets, setting financial priorities, and diversifying Depaul USA’s funding over time to fuel continued success and growth.  Qualified candidates will demonstrate the ability to run a business, lead and coalesce geographically dispersed teams, and serve as the lead brand ambassador as the face of the organization. This individual will have innovative ideas and will bring best practice on serving the unhoused. Successful relationship building and management skills are critical competencies in fulfilling the stated objectives for this position.

About the Organization
NREC is a statewide organization established by the Illinois Fertilizer Act in 2012.  It is funded through a fertilizer tonnage assessment, and has invested approximately $43M to date into research projects supporting the state’s Nutrient Loss Reduction Strategy and promoting sustainable farming practices.  NREC is managed by a Council of representatives from farm organizations, commercial fertilizers, specialty fertilizer companies, certified crop advisors, Illinois Department of Agriculture, Illinois Environmental Protection Agency, the agricultural experiment station and members of environmental organizations also provide input to the Council and help bridge the communication gap between the various industries. NREC is governed by 13-member Board of Directors and has an operating budget of approximately $5M with two full-time staff (Executive Director and Research Director).
